Our expertise in manufacturing positions us to be a leader in the delivery of difficult-to-manufacture niche products. On November 27, 2013, the Drug Quality and Security Act (DQSA) was signed into law. Title II of this law, the Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA), creates new product tracing and verification requirements for members of the pharmaceutical supply chain. The first set of these requirements is effective January 1, 2015. Pfizer Injectables has partnered with TraceLink to make the required transaction documents available to our trading partners. Through TraceLink, our trading partners can view the transaction documents via a secure electronic portal. TraceLink portal access is available to all of our customers free of charge. Our respect for the environment

Environmental stewardship includes managing...

Environmental stewardship includes managing waste in a responsible manner. Pfizer takes a multifaceted approach by focusing on source reduction, waste minimization, and recycling improvements. Typically, this is done at both the site and regional levels by establishing targets to reduce the generation of solid waste and reuse solvents through recovery processes.

With the establishment of Pfizer's Green Journey, the company is taking a more holistic approach to managing waste by minimizing the environmental impact of our products and processes across the supply chain and life cycle of our products.

Our goals include:

  • Decreasing generated waste through source reduction activities
  • Improving recycling methods
  • Effectively managing generated waste to reduce its potential impact on health and the environment
  • Choosing responsible waste vendors to manage our waste
